I have the honour to refer to your telegram unnu:bered of 2nd November 1957 informing me that deurice Summers, testpilot of the Closter Aircraft Com; any "ould arrive at Hong Kong on the 11th Foerber and instructing me to give him such sesiatence as might be possible. This telegram contained the roquent that pilots and achenics should not be sent to Hong Kong except on the understanding implisit in Colonial orrine telegram to His Excellency the Governor No.188 of 29th Jeptember, vis: that the deprture from the Colony of assebled airoraft destined for milit ry pur oses in Chine would not be allowed.
